영문 software reliability
(영)해석 ① the probability that software will not cause the failure of a system for a specified time under specified conditions. The probability is a function of the inputs to and use of the system in the software. The inputs to the system determine whether existing faults, if any, are encountered.
② The ability of a program to perform its required functions accurately and reproducibly under stated conditions for a specified period of time.
국문 소프트웨어 신뢰도
(국)해석 1) 소프트 웨어가 주어진 조건 아래서 주어진 시간에 대해 시스템이 고장을 일으키지 않을 확률.
①소프트웨어가 주어진 조건에서 지정된 시간 내에 한 시스템에 대하여 고장을 일으키지 않을 확률. 그 확률은 그 시스템에서의 결함이 존재할 확률일 뿐만 아니라 그 시스템의 사용과 입력의 함수이다. 시스템의 입력이 존재하는 결함과 부합되는지의 여부를 결정한다.
②프로그램이 주어진 시간 동안 주어진 조건에서 요구되는 기능을 수행할 수 있는 능력.
