영문 virus
(영)해석 A program which secretly alters other programs to include a copy of itself, and executes when the host program is executed. The execution of a virus program compromises a computer system by performing unwanted or unintended functions which may be destructive. See: bomb, trojan horse, worm.
국문 바이러스
(국)해석 주프로그램이 실행되었을 때 자기복제와 그것을 실행하는것을 포함하기 위해 은밀하게 다른 프로그램으로 변경하는 프로그램. 바이러스 프로그램의 실행은 해를 끼칠지 모를 원치않고 계획되지 않은 기능들의 실행으로 컴퓨터 시스템이 손상된다.
예)봄바이러스, 웜바이러스, 트로젠 바이러스등
(자기 자신을 복제할 수 있는 기능을 가지고 있으며 컴퓨터 프로그램이나 실행 가능한 부분을 변형시키고 그곳에 자신 또는 자신의 변형을 복사해 넣는 명령어들의 조합.)
