영문 asynchronous transmission
(영)해석 A timing independent method of electrical transfer of data in which the sending and receiving units are synchronized on each character, or small block of characters, usually by the use of start and stop signals. Contrast with synchronous transmission.
국문 비동기전송
(국)해석 동기 전송과는 대조적으로, 일반적으로 시작과 종료신호의 이용으로, 송수신 단위가 각각의 문자, 또는 소규모 문자블럭들 상에서 동기화 되는 타이밍 독립 전자 자료전송 방식.
